Kong
The classic Kong toy features a unique shape and a hollow center that can be filled with treats or peanut butter, transforming it into an engaging puzzle that keeps your dog entertained and content. It's designed to satisfy natural chewing instincts, enhance dental health, and prevent boredom. You can fill it with peanut butter (a classic choice) and freeze it for 10 minutes to extend the playtime.
This toy helps keep dogs occupied and alleviates boredom, serves as a reward during training sessions, redirects destructive chewing, and can safely ease separation anxiety or stress by keeping dogs busy. (Remember, it's not advisable to leave treats, especially bones, with your dog when unattended, as they can become lodged and pose a choking hazard!)

Ropes
Ropes are designed for playing with your dog. It's advised to motivate your dog to bite and shake the rope. This game won't lead to aggression; rather, it helps release energy and aggression. You can watch a video here demonstrating that Mika & Moka aren't always interested in playing with ropes...
In the second movie, Moka, the younger one, displays greater enthusiasm for the rope. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Another excellent game that is free involves plastic battles and other plastic containers, which Basenjis enjoy chewing on. Ensure they are sturdy enough so your dog cannot rip them apart and swallow small pieces or the bottle's cap.
Durable Dog Chew Toys Bones
Basenjis, known for their intelligence and energy, also have strong chewing instincts that need more than just any chew toy - they need something that stands up to their powerful jaws while ensuring safety and entertainment. Bone durable chew toys for aggressive chewers are the perfect solution. These specially designed toys offer durability, mental stimulation, and even dental health benefits.
I have tested the Benebone Wishbone Durable Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers, which is flavored with real bacon. It's crucial not to anticipate the same excitement from dogs as they would have with a real bone. This robust bone is meant to be a durable toy and not for constant play. However, when my dog does interact with it, she chews and gnaws on the bone with great enthusiasm for several minutes.
This is how it looks when you buy it:

This is after Mika and Moka's treatment.
I decided to try BetterBone to give Mika & Moka a new experience. Initially, it appears they enjoy it. I'll keep you updated.
