Meet Miksa, our youngest Basenji girl and daughter of Mika. I simply couldn’t resist her sweetness, so she stayed with us. Miksa is endlessly friendly and full of love, and just as full of playful energy. She brings joy, laughter, and a touch of creative “redecorating” to our home, but with a heart like hers, it’s impossible not to adore her.

Like her mother, she carries the true Basenji spirit - strong, fast, and a hunter at heart - yet she’s a little less “Basenji” in her temperament. While Mika tends to be more reserved with others (though deeply connected to me), Miksa is open-hearted, gentle, and endlessly affectionate. She brings joy, warmth, and playful energy to everyone around her, especially to her beloved “Aunty” Moka.
