Mika Junior was born on 22 June 2026 and is a daughter of Mika, one of the Basenjis I am especially proud of.

​

From the very beginning, she has shown a strong and confident character. I have a strong feeling that, as she grows, she will be very much like her mother - a true 100% Basenji.

​

Strong, intelligent, fast and independent, with the unmistakable character that makes the Basenji so different from any other breed.

Her mother, Mika, is an exceptional mother with strong maternal instincts and a history of large litters of 6-7 puppies.

 

I expect Mika Junior to inherit many of these qualities as she matures.

She is still young, and there is much more of her personality to discover. But already, I can see in her the qualities I value most in a Basenji.
